Collaborators & Community

The CFANS Organic program values collaborative work with partners within and outside the University. We work with a wide variety of orgranizations and individuals on projects ranging from food system development to on-farm research.

We are especially excited about the opportunity to build a strong working relationship with our neighbor, The Good Acre, a food hub working to bridge the gap between immigrant farmers and markets by providing storage, processing, and educational programming to immigrant farmers in the Twin Cities region. The Good Acre is located adjacent to the UMN St. Paul campus, allowing us to build a strong partnership through shared facilities and resources.

The CFANS Organic Program also values collaboration with FEASt, a platform for graduate students in the natural sciences to develop the interdisciplinary literacy needed to critically navigate broader social, economic and political concerns of the food and agricultural sciences.
